About this list

Monday is a quiet club night in this area, and most of what happens is in the hills. The Schachfreunde Oberreichenbach 1995 meet from seven in the Gasthaus Hirsch in Oberkollbach, and the Schachfreunde Bad Herrenalb play from seven in the club room of the Waldkurhaus in Rotensol, as a rule every Monday except on public holidays. In Heimsheim the chess department of the TSV trains from seven in the youth room of its club house Auf der Wanne.

Closer to the Rhine the Schachclub Karlsdorf 1947 trains its youth from six at the Stadtwaldheim and the adults from seven. In Karlsruhe the Schachschule Karlsruhe teaches its beginners’ course for school children on Monday afternoons, a run of six dates that began on 12 October 2026.
